Got an Essential PH-1 while they were on sale for around 240

Less than a week later and the camera and flashlight hardware have completely failed, forcing me to send the phone back

Good riddance, I'll never buy a piece of shit Essential product ever again

There's a reason why they dropped the price almost 400$ on these things within 18 months, and it's because they belong in a landfill.

Android is a DAMN UGLY OS.

I dont like iPhones, theyre expensive and always behind in techs, but im using them until Google decides to give a new design to the android.

Having brightness issue in pie and black bar during media and calls is annoying. Hope they fix it in next update.

Worst phone I've ever owned cause after the update to pie the battery dies even when the phone is off.

Hey Lisa, been watching your vids for years. Love your reviews and how you don't complain about minor B.S. that doesn't matter to most besides fanboys. Anyway, curious if you'll be reviewing the Note 9? I just moved from an S6E+ to this and it's quite an impressive performer, only negative to me has been the price. Looking forward to your new reviews!

Thanks.. I always love your vids. Always keep it simple and straight tk the point. I just don't get why they at least move the camera to one corner. They have done it in the past.

It wasn't one of the first anything. It was the first phone with a notch. Apple then copied it.

Essential is @ $223 in Amazon right now and seriously a no-brainer buy given the specs of the phone and its updates. Regardless of what is happening to the company.
