I do feel bad for those Lady Bugs, cause they wound up nesting in a window seal, full of mold and fiberglass bits, rather than a tree trunk outdoors. When I was a youngster we would camp out throughout the summers by some hot springs, up in the California mountains and toward the end of summer we would find the Lady Bugs nesting, their bodies layered from a few inches up to maybe four foot deep in and on the trunks of many dead or downed trees. We know they are not an aggressive bug, though when nesting, if your skin is wet they will land on and give you a tiny bite that isn't painful : l but if a lot of them are involved, it's not pleasant. I believe it's a defensive move to protect their nesting grounds. (If anyone finds Lady Bugs nesting on their property or wherever, please contact the largest local nursery about what company will purchase them.) Best to sell them locally.

Since I have saved these last videos to binge watch, I wonder if you took those windows to recycle? We just replaced the 60's Ja-lousy windows and got over $100 dollars for them because it is aluminum. They took them even with the glass still in them. Great way to get some hidden money and recycle at the same time!

Ha Ha, you had me fooled there for a minute when you took out the window and I could still see the reflection of the tree in the opening. It's great that you had a means of securing the plastic from the inside like you did. If not I would have probably done one side of the home at a time. I have a question, is some of the music you use by an artist called Giovanni ? We have some of his CDs and it sounds similar to some of the music you guys use. It looks like you'll have good weather for painting.

My wish for a YouTube enhancement – when someone gives a thumbs down the person is identified. Maybe there wouldn’t be as many party poopers if they we’re identifiable.
Or – if you choose to give a thumbs down you have to enter a reason (‘video too long’ ‘I’m pro Old Windows’ ‘I’m just a grouchy old person who sits on my butt all day and can’t be happy or encouraging to hard working people living their dream’).
